disenchanted

Another day, another list of things that I just didn't get to.  I could have, but I didn't.  I frustrate myself sometimes! How do you find motivation when it just isn't there? Keep trying I suppose...

I've been thinking a lot lately about what I'm supposed to do and where I'm supposed to be.  It's interesting that when you're very similar to someone you want to do a lot of the same things.  The unfortunate part about that is that you can't always do all the same stuff, really you probably don't want to.  Just a thought.  Too vague? I would love to do College Union, but that's Eric's thing.  Mr. President.  And i'm really glad he's president and loves it, but i don't want to infringe on his territory ya know? It would be the same with anyone, i just don't have many friends who are presidents of stuff!

I have a fabulous sunburn, marking my first of the year.  I fell asleep on the quad on Sunday with one arm under my pillow and one arm above my head.  this strategically lifted the bottom of my shirt about half an inch on one side of my lower back.... so the resulting burn is only my left arm, from shoulder to elbow as well as a strip on my lower back that shrinks as it goes from left to right.  amazing.  it takes talent to get a burn like that (that isn't fading...at all)

Happy Spring! Warm weather makes me smile and I love how it makes everyone else happier too.  I also love the memo that goes out to every girl on the first warm day of the year: wear a cute skirt! Which of course is followed by a posting on the forum wall about how girls don't wear enough clothing.  ahh spring!

Thunderstorms too.... there was one yesterday afternoon and i love to just sit and watch them.

Geology still sucks, a lot, and i still have not turned in the question set that was due 2..count em 2 WEEKS ago.  and that is where my sucking at life enters the picture.  off to finish the stupid questions and try to salvage what's left of my grade in that class!
